Description: The purpose of this institute is to assist local school and/or district teams to improve their students’ post-secondary outcomes by:
Identifying and conducting age-appropriate transition assessments,
Increasing the use of transition assessment information in developing individual education programs (IEPs) that include meaningful post-secondary goals and transition services,
Improving overall compliance with SPP Indicator 13, and
Increasing their capacity to implement evidence-based transition education and services.
