Georgia Pathway to Language and Literacy Conference

The Georgia Pathway to Language and Literacy is an on-line community of practice (CoP), with a mission of advancing the literacy proficiency of Georgia’s children who are deaf or hard of hearing (D/HH). Our vision is to achieve grade-level reading by the end of third grade for all Georgia students with hearing loss, regardless of their communication modality. The commitment to achieving such outcomes for children with hearing loss supports the vision statement of the Georgia Early Education Alliance for Ready Students.   We invite you to participate in the launch of the CoP by attending the live program from the studio of  Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB) at 260 14th Street, NW, Atlanta, Georgia from 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM on August 4, 2011 . Space in the GPB live audience will be limited to the first 300 individuals to register. This program will also be streamed across the State to groups at ETECH locations and individuals at personal computers.   There is no charge to attend this conference or for continued involvement in the CoP. Please register for the conference at:  https:\\enstg.com\signup , using the conference code: GAX86504.
