Superintendent Woods’ statement regarding Senate Bill 2:

“No ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach is appropriate for education, and our students suffer when we attempt to impose one on them. There must be options available. Senate Bill 2, which would grant local boards of education the authority to award high school diplomas to students who have already demonstrated their aptitude in the post-secondary arena, would expand options in Georgia’s schools and place more of our students firmly on the path toward high school graduation and future success.”
