September 13, 2016 – The September 14th Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) feedback session in Fulton County will be streamed live so all citizens throughout Georgia have the opportunity to participate.

The Georgia Department of Education is conducting a series of public hearings to collect feedback as it develops its plan for ESSA, the replacement for the law commonly known as No Child Left Behind. Stakeholders are also encouraged to provide feedback to essa@doe.k12.ga.us.

The Fulton County feedback session will be held Wednesday, September 14, from 6-8 p.m. at the Fulton County School System’s North Learning Center (450 Northridge Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30350).

All Georgia citizens are invited to attend (in Fulton County or one of five other remaining locations). More resources on ESSA can be found in the original press release.
