To
all education & business stakeholders:
The
Career, Technical and Agricultural Education (CTAE) unit and its staff are
committed to supporting systems, schools, and students during difficult times.
In the wake of the damage to southern and coastal Georgia by Hurricane Irma, it
has been determined that it is in the best interest of our partners and
supporters to indefinitely cancel the regional economic
development meeting scheduled for Tuesday, September 19th in
Brunswick-Glynn County.
While
these regional economic development meetings provide an excellent opportunity
to share best practices, ideas, techniques, and solutions for aligning our CTAE
programs to better meet Georgia’s future workforce needs, the essential quality
of life of the affected communities deserves the full attention and resources
that are currently being offered by state and local service agencies.
As
such, the CTAE team will continue offer assistance where it is most needed. At
this time a date for rescheduling is not known; however, every effort will be
made to showcase the educational and industry assets of this region in a future
event. Click here to register
for our other regional economic development meetings.
Please
let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Dr.
Barbara Wall
