| Description of Duties: | Under general supervision, provides health services for students in a clinic at a state-operated school. Duties include, but are not limited to, conducting health screenings, administering medication, providing health education and counseling; serving, as needed, as the liaison between parents, physicians, and health care agencies regarding the health status of students; documenting health care services as required; and performing health care-related administrative tasks. |
| Minimum Qualifications: | A current Georgia license to practice as a registered professional nurse. |
| Preferred Qualifications: | Preference will be given to applicants who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, possess the following: • Experience working in a residential school setting with hearing impaired and/or multi-disabled students • Three years experience as a registered professional nurse

| Salary/Benefits: | Pay grade 14 – $26,143.74 annually (minimum) to $45,745.26 (maximum). This is a 10-month position paid on 12-month basis. Salary will be based on the number of days worked. Benefit options include life, disability, dental and health insurance; annual/sick leave; and Employees’ Retirement or Teachers Retirement. |
