Called State Board Meeting on Wednesday

MEDIA CONTACT: - Dana Tofig, GaDOE Communications Office,  dtofig@gadoe.org , (404) 463-1487 - Follow us on  Twitter  and  Facebook      The State Board of Education will hold a special called meeting on Wednesday, June 24, at 8:30 a.m. Items that will be discussed are:    - A contract for continued work on the state's longitudinal data system    - Changes to the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards grants    - An amendment to Gwinnett County's and Forsyth County's Investing in Educational Excellence (IE2) Contract    To view the agenda and get more information, go to the  State Board of Education's eBoard site .     This meeting will be held in the State Board Room, 205 Jesse Hill Jr. Drive, Suite 2070, Atlanta, Ga. 30334. The meeting will also be  webcast on the GaDOE website . In order to save travel expenses, many, if not all, State Board members will participate via conference call, but their comments and votes will be audible in the Board Room and on the webcast.
