State Board of Education member Nick Ellis to hold 1st district public hearing

April 6, 2023 – State Board of Education member Nick Ellis will hold a public hearing for citizens in the 1st Congressional District on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 from 7 to 8 p.m. at Wayne County Schools Tech Center, 1365 West Orange Street, Jesup, GA 31545.

The purpose of the hearing is to hear comments from interested citizens and educators within the congressional district regarding K-12 public education. Those wishing to speak should sign in upon arrival. For more information, please contact SBOEadmin@doe.k12.ga.us.

The 1st Congressional District includes Appling, Bacon, Brantley, Bryan, Camden, Charlton, Chatham, Glynn, Liberty, Long, McIntosh, Pierce, Ware, and Wayne counties along with portions of Effingham County. Find your congressional district here.
