April
6, 2018 – The
State Board of Education will hold a public hearing for citizens in the third
Congressional District on Monday, April 30, 2018. The meeting will be held from
7 to 8 p.m. in the Media Center at Whitewater High School, 100 Wildcat Way,
Fayetteville, GA 30215.
The
third Congressional District includes the counties of Carroll, Coweta, Harris,
Heard, Lamar, Meriwether, Pike, Spalding, Troup, and Upson along with parts of
Fayette, Henry, and Muscogee counties. Click

The
purpose of the hearing is to hear comments from interested citizens and
educators within the congressional district regarding the performance and
problems of public education. Persons wishing to speak should sign in upon
arrival.
The
