Media Availability: Military Flagship School Award at Columbus High School

State leaders will visit Columbus High School on Wednesday, April 3 to celebrate the school’s receipt of the Military Flagship School Award. Media are welcomed to attend and cover this event.

Columbus High is one of six inaugural Military Flagship Schools recognized by the Georgia Department of Education. The award recognizes schools going above and beyond to provide a supportive environment for military students and families. Military Flagship Schools provide specific outreach to military families and recognize and accommodate their unique needs. Learn more here.
