April
17, 2019 – The
State Board of Education will hold a public hearing for citizens in the 10th
Congressional District on Monday, April 29, 2019. The meeting will be
held from 7 to 8 p.m. in the Media Center at Ola High School, 357 North Ola
Road, McDonough, GA 30252.
The
10th Congressional District includes Baldwin, Barrow, Glascock, Greene,
Hancock, Jasper, Jefferson, Johnson, Lincoln, McDuffie, Morgan, Oconee,
Oglethorpe, Putnam, Taliaferro, Walton, Warren, Washington, and Wilkes
counties, and portions of Butts, Clarke, Columbia, Gwinnett, Henry, and Newton

The
purpose of the hearing is to hear comments from interested citizens and educators
within the congressional district regarding the performance and problems of
public education.
