March 25, 2021 – The State Board of Education today accepted the Emergency Assistance for Non-public Schools (EANS) grant, which makes $79,175,146 in federal funds available for qualifying non-public schools through an application process.

The Georgia Department of Education has posted the Emergency Assistance for Non-public Schools (EANS) program application online and it is now available for non-public schools to apply at https://www.gadoe.org/EANS

An EANS training webinar is scheduled on Friday, March 26, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. for prospective applicants to review the program requirements, application process, and ask any questions that will support the successful submission of an application.  Non-public schools wishing to register for the webinar should email EANS@doe.k12.ga.us to register.

*Please note that for-profit schools, home school umbrellas, and Pre-K non-public schools that are not a part of an elementary school are not eligible to participate in the EANS program.
