State Board of Education member Dr. Stanley DeJarnett to host 10th district public hearing

​State Board of Education member Dr. Stanley DeJarnett will hold a public hearing for citizens in the 10th Congressional District on Tuesday, May 17 from 7 to 8 p.m. at Putnam County High School, 300 War Eagle Drive, Eatonton, GA 31024.

The purpose of the hearing is to hear comments from interested citizens and educators within the congressional district regarding K-12 public education. Those wishing to speak should sign in upon arrival. For more information, please contact SBOEadmin@doe.k12.ga.us.

The 10th Congressional District includes Baldwin, Barrow, Butts, Glascock, Greene, Hancock, Jasper, Jefferson, Johnson, Lincoln, McDuffie, Morgan, Oconee, Oglethorpe, Putnam, Taliaferro, Walton, Warren, Washington, and Wilkes counties along with portions of Clarke, Columbia, Gwinnett, Henry, and Newton counties.
