Preference will be given to applicants who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, possess one or more of the following: • Master’s degree in education, education administration, career and technical education or a related field and two (2) years of program management experience in a K-12 education setting • Considerable knowledge of and experience in management of projects • Excellent writing skills, verbal communications, and research experiences • Ability to analyze and use data for decision making related to career guidance and counseling • Previous successful experience as a K-12 classroom teacher • Previous successful administrative experience in K-12 education • Considerable knowledge of and experience with CTAE programs, students, and teachers • Previous successful experience with implementing and maintaining a career center • Specialist degree or higher in education • Previous success providing professional development in school counseling • Previous successful experience providing supervision for guidance programs and personnel • Previous successful experience in the development and implementation of innovation guidance and counseling programs
