Description of Duties:Under limited supervision, establishes operating procedures, practices and guidelines and communicates them with program or department personnel. Responsible for assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of project. Monitors and controls schedules and project budgets. Communicates with managerial staff as needed. Plans and manages business development and project management activities for a program or department that have a significant impact to the agency; communicating and maintaining a positive working relationship with the department and with local, state and federal agencies; and collaborates with state and national allied organizations. Attends and participates in national and federal level meetings. Statewide travel.
Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Two years of related experience OR Four years related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:

Preference will be given to applicants who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, possess one or more of the following:

·         Culinary experience and/or culinary certification

·         Standardized recipe development experience for school nutrition program compliance

·         Experience teaching student and/or adult learners

·         Experience with developing culinary training and menu production schedules

·         Collaborative work experience with school partners supporting school nutrition policy

·         Professional-level experience with K-12 school nutrition programs

·         Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint)


Salary/Benefits: Pay grade M – Annual salary range is $46,310.72 (minimum) to $81,043.76 (maximum).  Hiring salary is commensurate with current employment, relevant education/training and work experience.  Benefit options include life, disability, dental and health insurance, annual/sick leave, and Employees’ Retirement or Teachers’ Retirement.
