21st CCLC FY20 Request for Proposal​

NOTICE:                                                                                                               April 4th, 2019                                                                                                        The Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) is nearing completion of the reader scoring phase of the 21st CCLC FY20 RFP grant competition.  All applicants should anticipate receiving notification from the GaDOE regarding RFP scoring outcomes no later than Tuesday, April 30, 2019.  Notification will be sent via email directly to the RFP contact person named on the application once the scoring phase is completed. Thank you for your patience as we advance through the scoring phase of the competition and prepare to submit new grant awards to the State Board of Education for final approval on July 18, 2019. ​

The Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) is pleased to announce the release of the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) FY20 Request for Proposal (RFP). The RFP contains the guidelines that should be followed when applying for a subgrant under this program. This competition is seeking to fund applicants who will operate 21st CCLC programs beginning in the 2019-2020 school year. 

Applicants will have the option of completing and submitting their 21st CCLC proposal entirely online. Please visit the 21st CCLC RFP website (www.ga21cclc.org) to view the FY20 RFP and Technical Guidance regarding this option. Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit their proposal(s) online; however, hard copy submission via mail or hand delivery is still available. 

All proposal applications must be received by January 30, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. EST. Applications postmarked or date stamped after this deadline will not be accepted.

Interested applicants are also encouraged to submit a Notice of Intent to Apply form to assist the GaDOE in planning purposes and preparations for application scoring. The Notice of Intent to Apply form must be submitted by October 31, 2018, 2:00 p.m.

FY20 RFP Training and Technical Assistance
The GaDOE will offer an informational webinar on September 14, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. to cover general 21st CCLC requirements and important dates. Additionally, prospective subgrantees are encouraged to attend in-person meetings during which guidance will be provided for completing and submitting a program proposal. There will also be webinars offered on specific sections of the the RFP, please register for the webinars by clicking the links below.
