 Elementary School Teachers Embracing SLDS

(Video length 6 mins 52 secs)

Seven elementary school teachers from Floyd County describe how they are using the Statewide Longitudinal Data System (SLDS). Working smarter and not harder, they discuss how SLDS has helped them complete reports or forms that are often required for Special Education, Gifted, ESOL and other programs. They also address and identify students' reading proficiency through the data found in SLDS without going to "THE VAULT". What a time saver! These teachers share how they use SLDS to prepare for parent conferences in addition, some of the teachers are conducting student conferences to establish "goal setting".
