Georgia Professional Standards Commission
The Georgia General Assembly created the Professional Standards Commission in 1991 to assist with the preparation, and conduct of certified, licensed, or permitted personnel employed in the public schools of the State of Georgia. The Commission is also responsible for the development and administration of teacher certification testing. Certification status, educator links, approved programs are just some of the components of this website.

International Society for Technology in Education
ISTE is a nonprofit organization with a membership of leaders in educational technology. They are dedicated to promoting appropriate uses of information technology to support and improve learning, teaching, and administration in K–12 education and teacher education. Their website contains coverage of the many topics relevant to the educational technology community.

National Board for Professional Teaching Standards
The National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) was created in 1987 after the Carnegie Forum on Education and the Economy's Task Force on Teaching as a Profession released A Nation Prepared: Teachers for the 21st Century (May 16, 1986).
