Description of Duties:
Under general supervision, job responsibilities include but are not limited to processing central supply purchase orders, distribute requested supplies to designated areas; maintaining central supply room; generating orders for non-stock items; check stock levels for re-order; maintaining an organized filing system; courier services-pickup and deliveries for supplies, special events and/or as assigned; reconcile monthly purchasing card; perform customer service duties; coordinate surplus liquidation; maintaining inventory control for facility – federal and state funds; troubleshoot copy machine and call for repair; update vehicle transportation report; update asbestos report twice a year; scheduling vehicle repairs and maintaining vehicle repair files; Assisting maintenance staff as needed; other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Completion of a high school diploma or GED and two years of experience in shipping and receiving OR completion of vocational/technical school program and one year of experience in shipping and receiving; must be able to lift 75 – 100 lbs.; must possess of a valid Georgia driver's license; experience using Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel; sign language skills at the Survival Plus level as measured by the Sign Language Proficiency Instrument (SLPI)
Preferred Qualifications:
Sign language skills at the Intermediate or above level as measured by the Sign Language Proficiency Instrument (SLPI)
Salary/Benefits:
Pay grade 9 - Annual salary range $20,039.02 (minimum) to $35,061.61 (maximum).  Starting salary dependent on current employment, training and experience.  Benefit options include life, disability, dental and health insurance; annual/sick leave; and Employees’ Retirement.
