GaDOE Region 1 MEP Office

The GaDOE Region 1 MEP Office is responsible for providing support and technical assistance to school districts by serving the needs of migrant children and youth. This regional office supports these districts by assisting with program planning and implementation, program evaluation, social services information, identification and recruitment of migrant children and youth, and professional development. The GaDOE MEP staff in region 1 also participates in compliance monitoring visits conducted by the Georgia Department of Education Cross-Functional Monitoring Teams.
