For the past 15 years, the Georgia Department of Education has collected data on schools' technology inventories and infrastructure. This fulfills the technology inventory planning requirements established by the Schools and Library Division for the E-Rate program as well as requirements for online assessments for the 2014-15 school year. It also assists the state and local districts in technology planning.
