GaDOE Accepting Proposals for Participation in the National Dropout Prevention Conference

March 21, 2013 – The Georgia Department of Education is accepting proposals for workshops, seminars and roundtables for the National Dropout Prevention Conference to be held
Nov. 3-6 in Atlanta.
The Conference is inviting innovative, skilled presenters who have excellent ideas, proven programs, and research to share in the areas of
  • literacy
  • school climate
  • data assessment
  • curriculum and instruction
  • college and career pathways
  • leadership, policy, and governance
  • student support services and interventions
  • student, family, and community engagement
For detailed descriptions of each of these strands, visit dropoutprevention.org. Proposals for sessions are due May 5, and chosen presenters will be notified May 15.
To apply to lead a session, go to www.dropoutprevention.org/conferences/25th-annual-national-dropout-prevention-network-conference and click “Submit a Proposal.”
