Learning Resources Cycle for 2015

The next learning resources recommendation cycle is for K-12 Foreign/Modern Languages, Latin and K-12 ESOL.  The review of materials from publishers is scheduled for the summer of 2015.

The State Board of Education appoints a Learning Resources Advisory Committee to serve in an advisory capacity, coordinate the evaluation of textbooks/instructional materials submitted for recommendation in specified subject areas and make recommendations to the board for textbooks/instructional materials to be state recommended. The Learning Resources Advisory Committee consists of professional educators and lay members, appointed from each congressional district and the state at-large.

Educators, parents, and community members may be considered for participation on this committee. There will be one committee member from each congressional district. In addition, the State Board and the State School Superintendent may appoint at large members.
