September 1, 2015 – The State Board of Education will hold a called meeting Thursday, September 3, 2015, at 9 a.m. The meeting will be conducted via conference call in the State Board Room, 2070 Twin Towers East in Atlanta. The purpose of the meeting is to approve the achievement standards (i.e., cut scores) for the Georgia Milestones Assessment System, approve Title II, Part A grant allocations, and to discuss a personnel item. The Georgia Milestones achievement standards and the personnel item will be discussed in Executive Session prior to a public vote.
