Free Digital Books Available to All Georgia Students

Through a partnership between myON and the Get Georgia Reading Campaign, all students, educators, librarians and parents in Georgia can have free access to thousands of enhanced digital books from myON through August 31st.​

Check out a short video with your students at vimeo.com/89640131 for tips on finding and reading great books on myON. 

Then follow these simple steps: 

Register at about.myon.com/GetGAREADING

Under Job Title, type in Reader. 

Under School, if your child is not enrolled in school yet, type in Get Georgia Reading. 

1. After you register, you will receive instructions on your county login within 48 hours. 

2. Go to myON.com​

3. Click the Log In Now button and enter the following information: School Name: Get Georgia Reading, Georgia Campaign for Grade-Level Reading (Begin typing and select from the drop-down menu.) 

User Name: included in registration instructions Password: read Click on the Sign In button, select a book, and start reading.

GeorgiaSummer.org Public and private partners across Georgia—including the Georgia Department of Education, Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning, Georgia Public Library Service, and Georgia Public Broadcasting—have come together to create this online toolkit with resources for summer reading, learning, safety, and meals.

Find summer meals in your community The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) and Seamless Summer Option (SSO) provide access to free and nutritious meals to children 18 and under during the summer months when school’s out. Find summer meal sites by entering an address in the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Summer Meals Finder map. The website includes dates of operations, meals available at each location, meal times, and more. (This institution is an equal opportunity provider.
