March
26, 2018 – The
State Board of Education will hold a public hearing for citizens in the 10th
Congressional District on Tuesday, April 10, 2018. The meeting will be held
from 7 to 8 p.m. in Community Hall at Lake Oconee Academy, 1021 Titan Circle,
Greensboro, GA 30642.
The
10th Congressional District includes the counties of Baldwin,
Barrow, Glascock, Greene, Hancock, Jasper, Jefferson, Johnson, Lincoln,
McDuffie, Morgan, Oconee, Oglethorpe, Putnam, Taliaferro, Walton, Warren,
Washington, and Wilkes along with parts of Butts, Clarke, Columbia, Gwinnett,
Henry, and Newton counties. Click

The
purpose of the hearing is to hear comments from interested citizens and
educators within the congressional district regarding the performance and
problems of public education. Persons wishing to speak should sign in upon
arrival.
The
