To qualify for the Georgia Special Scholarship award for Kindergarten in the 2024-2025 school year​ the student must meet all four requirements:

1) ​​​The student's parent currently resides within Georgia and has been a Georgia resident for at least one calendar​ year however, that the one-year requirement shall not apply if the student's parent is an active duty military service member stationed in Georgia within the previous year; AND

2) The student received preschool special education or related services pursuant to Section 619 of Part B of the federal Individuals with Disabilities Education Act ​in the 2023-2024 school year; AND

3) The student must be entering Kindergarten in the 2024-2025 school year; AND​

4) The student must attain the age of five on or before September 1, 2024​.​
