Description of Duties:
Under limited supervision, advises and/or coordinates services to support implementation of Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports (PBIS) within regions and local school districts. Supports implementation of general supervision for local districts to ensure compliant policies, practices, and procedures that comply with federal regulations and state rules.  Must be able to prepare guidelines, memoranda, reports, and presentation materials.  Conducts training and staff development activities for local districts.  Provides specific coaching supports for regional, district and/or school leadership teams to develop capacity for effective implementation and sustainability of the comprehensive PBIS framework.  This position will be responsible for assisting districts in developing, implementing, and monitoring comprehensive plans to address the needs of all students through the PBIS framework. 
Note:  Statewide travel is required.  This position is based at the Atlanta Office.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must hold or is eligible for Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) educator certification.  A Master’s degree in special education, education administration, or a related field and a minimum five (5) years of experience in a K-12 setting or the equivalent.   Note:  Must submit required certification documentation.  *Applicants who do not submit required certification documentation with cover letter, resume and salary history or application will not be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to applicants who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, possess one or more of the following:
• Holds a current leadership certificate (education administration) from a state accrediting agency and experience as a building or district leader.
• Knowledge and experience in the effective implementation of PBIS at the school, district level or state levels.
• Experience in designing, developing and delivering professional learning for educators.
• Knowledge and/or background in social/emotional and behavioral health for school aged youth.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience with different media types such as social media.
• Extensive experience with multiple forms of technologies including remote web-based platforms
Pay Grade N – Annual salary range $52,331 (minimum) to $91,579 (maximum).  **Hiring salary is commensurate with current employment, relevant education/training and work experience, and available funding Benefit options include life, disability, dental and health insurance, annual/sick leave, and Employees’ Retirement or Teachers’ Retirement.
