Are you a lifelong learner? You now have the opportunity to take multiple, self-paced, online courses for free. These courses introduce participants to Parent and Family Engagement requirements as described in the Every Student Succeeds Act. Start an account and log in.

There is no registration fee to enroll, and a digital badge for each course completion will be provided after creating a separate account. School-Parent Compact Course

A School-Parent Compact is available through Georgia Learns. The course will take learners through the process of gathering input, creating, and distributing a School-Parent Compact. A discussion forum to post your reflections on the course content and to read messages by other learners taking the same online course is available.

This self-paced, online course is to assist Title I school staff in becoming familiar with federal requirements and state guidance regarding the School Parent and Family Engagement Policy. The School Parent and Family Engagement Policy describes how the school will effectively engage parents and support a partnership among the school, parents, and the community to improve academic achievement. ​
