The Drug Surveillance Unit monitors overdose trends in Georgia, and provides overdose data to the public and to partners working to end the opioid epidemic. This data is also used to detect and respond to rapid increases, or clusters, of overdoses.
The GaDOE Office of Whole Child Supports partnered with Curriculum and Instruction to develop a resource calendar of lesson plans for Red Ribbon Week. The lesson plans are organized by grade band and aligned with the Georgia Standards of Excellence.
